Driffield has a new changing face with national brands appearing on the high street.
With Subway opening on Wednesday afternoon of last week and seeing an influx of customers in its early days, B&M is the latest to confirm that it will be opening a store on Middle Street South in coming months.
B&M is to take over the old Kwik Save site and on the back of the YO25 postcode being voted the best area in Yorkshire to raise a family, this can only be a good thing for Driffield and the surrounding area.
Your new local paper is completely behind the success that this thriving market town is revelling in at the moment.
After taking possession of the keys for the site, it is clear from a statement given to the Wolds Weekly that the company is relishing becoming part of the local community.
B&M, one of the UK’s fastest growing retailers is delighted to announce that we will be opening a new store in Driffield; occupying the former Kwik Save in the town.
“A comprehensive internal and external refurbishment programme is currently being undertaken and the new B&M will open later this year.
“Customers can expect a wide variety of branded and own label products from its convenient location on Middle Street South including groceries and toiletries as well as an extensive non-food section including toys, home and seasonal ranges.”
Cliff Hall, B&M Area Manager for Yorkshire said: “We are really proud to be opening in Driffield and playing our part in the local community.
“We are excited to get the doors open later this year; providing great value products and world class service to customers across the town.”
After we announced this news on our Facebook page www.facebook.com/DriffieldWoldsWeekly we have had nearly 60 different people com-menting, with the vast majority in favour of B&M coming to Driffield.
