An influential local business club has underlined its commitment to the town’s growth and development, by relocating to Driffield.
Members of the Driffield & District Business Club are now holding their fortnightly get-togethers at Driffield Golf Club, instead of their former home at Langtoft.
Club Chairman Jim Ezard said: “Driffield is a vibrant town already recognised as the beating heart of the Wolds, and going from strength to strength, with an exciting new renaissance programme under way.
“Therefore, as we represent businesses from here to the East Coast, it seemed a fitting new centre for the Business Club.”
This powerful networking forum now has 30 members, representing industries from web design to banking, estate agency, financial advice services and IT.
“We’re all about providing local businesses with a strong platform for growth and development, as well as contributing to the vibrancy of the area,” added Jim
“The group is going from strength to strength and we very much welcome any other businesses which would like to benefit from what we offer.”
The group meets every other Friday from 7.30am to 9am and annual membership costs just £100, including social membership of the Golf Club.
Anyone interested in finding out more about the group is welcome to just come along one Friday or call Jim on 07774 988162 for more information.
