Peter Arthur Young (60) from Hull died after being involved in a collision with a parked vehicle at about 6.15pm on Ferry Road, South Cave.
Mr Young was riding a Kawasaki KZX 250 and was travelling from North Cave into South Cave when the collision occurred with the Kia Venga that was parked and unattended at the roadside.
Peter Young leaves his wife Jill and three sons Daniel, Richard and Glenn.
They have issued the following tribute:
“Pete was a dedicated, loving and loyal family man. He worked really hard all his life to provide for us. Always thoughtful and kind, he was always ready to help anyone in trouble. His presence filled the room and he didn’t know the meaning of quiet as he loved to talk and laugh and joke and sometimes chunter. He loved his motorbikes and all animals and didn’t like to see anything hurt. He adored his four year old granddaughter Amelia, who describes him as ‘loud’. We will never ever stop loving and missing him. “
Officer’s investigating the collision are still appealing for witnesses to the collision. Anyone with information should call 101 quoting log 417 of January 13
