EXCLUSIVE: Driffield gets a slice of the good stuff

The Domino’s Pizza Group are set to be the latest high street national chain to descend on Driffield.

A further high street national chain will be coming to Driffield later this year as Domino’s Pizza have plans to open soon.

Planning application was validated on Wednesday 18th May for Domino’s Pizza to move into 45 Market Place, formerly occupied by Yorkshire Bank which closed in September 2015.

The retailer is the latest of several national chains which have opened in Driffield in recent years following WHSmith, Card Factory, B&M, Subway and just last month, Greggs.

Domino’s Pizza is scheduled to be open by the end of the year with opening hours of 11am-1am on Monday to Saturday and 11am-midnight on Sunday and Bank Holidays.

There are also plans for 25 part-time staff members, creating several new jobs for the people of Driffield and the Wolds.

Abbey Everett, spokesperson for Domino’s Pizza Group, said: “Domino’s is always looking for great new locations for its stores, and we’re really excited to have found such good premises right in the heart of the Driffield community.

“We hope to open our doors by the end of the year and will be looking to recruit from within the area, with 25 new jobs available for pizza-passionate locals.”
