Final preparations are being made for Sledmere House’s Festival of the Horse which takes place on Sunday (10th September 2017) with over 2,000 people expected to attend the event, which takes place in the grounds of the stately home.
Having been successfully organised for the first-time last year, the Festival of the Horse is set to be bigger and better in 2017 with lots of demonstrations showing off every aspect of the equine animal. This year’s event will also include the Wagoners Open Day for the first time.

Throughout the day, there will also be exciting shopping opportunities for people to buy all kinds of items for the home, horse, stable and rider.
Meanwhile, The Wagoners Rest Sledmere House Café will be on tour, providing refreshments for the public, whilst there will also be a licensed bar serving alcoholic drinks. All parking is free of charge.
