Find out what’s under your feet on a UNESCO Geoparks walk from Huggate

There will be a chance to venture out on a landscape and geology walk at Huggate on Friday, 27th May, from 9.30am to 3pm.

Walk leader Richard Myerscough will explore the relationship between geology and landscape, as part of the UNESCO GEOPARK concept.

At the end, walkers will be able to enjoy a cuppa in the café in the village.

This will be a six-mile walk with several stops. Participants should wear walking boots or sturdy shoes for uneven ground in the outdoors, and bring a packed lunch and drinks. Dogs are not allowed on this walk.
