Former Blakestons Solicitors building is sold

One of Driffield’s long-term vacant properties is soon to be filled after a buyer was found.

The former Blakestons Solicitors at 50 Market Place has been up for sale for several years, with the lawyers leaving the premises some time ago.

It has been on the market with Dee Atkinson & Harrison for a significant period, but now a purchaser has been found.

However, the new owner of the building remains a mystery, with Dee Atkinson & Harrison stating that its client did not wish to release any details.

There will no doubt be much anticipation in the Capital of the Wolds as it hopes to welcome a new business to the town.
