COMEDIAN PAUL SMITH ADDS TWO MORE DATES AND LULU ALSO SET TO PERFORM AT HULL’S CONNEXIN LIVE

After selling out three shows almost a year in advance, comedian Paul Smith has added an extra two performances at Connexin Live in Hull.

The Liverpudlian comic will bring his tour show ‘Pablo’ to Hull for extra shows on 21st and 22nd March. These will be in addition to the shows which have already sold out on 20th and 21st September and 23rd October.

Get ready to experience the jaw-aching, laugh-out-loud comedy only Smith can deliver. This is Paul Smith’s biggest and funniest tour show yet, and it promises to have you rolling around in laughter with every joke.

The show features a mix of his trademark audience interaction and hilarious true stories from his everyday life.

You can expect hysterics from start to finish, and you won’t want to miss a minute. Tickets for Paul Smith’s extra shows go on sale on Friday at 10am.

Rock n roll legend Lulu has also announced she is extending her ‘Champagne for Lulu’ farewell tour after a sell-out run of dates last month.

Lulu performed eight spectacular live dates in April and is now preparing to take the show back out on the road one last time, reaching fans that couldn’t make it the first time.

This includes a show at Connexin Live in Hull on 7th November.

‘Champagne for Lulu’ is a celebration with Lulu as you’ve never seen her before, celebrating her turning 75 last year and 60 years since she stormed into the UK charts with her iconic hit ‘Shout’ and became a national treasure.

Transcending generations with a lifetime of global success, which boasts accolades including being a Eurovision winner, a Bond theme singer, releasing the biggest selling record in the US (‘To Sir With Love’, 1967), and one of the first ever pop artists to perform behind the Iron Curtain in Poland, not to mention receiving an OBE, opening the closing ceremony for the 2014 Commonwealth Games in her home city of Glasgow, reaching number one with the biggest boyband since The Beatles, and still going strong as a captivating live entertainer.

“60 years in the business,” said Lulu. “What an amazing journey it’s been, so many memories – wow! That’s why I’m going to make sure that my upcoming shows are a momentous celebration.

“And I promise to whip up one hell of a party, all the hits, my personal stories from behind the scenes, and of course I’ll be inviting some special guests onto the stage with me.
