WOMAN FOUND DEAD AFTER POLICE CALLED TO VILLAGE NEAR DRIFFIELD ON THURSDAY MORNING

Humberside Police have confirmed that a woman was found dead after officers were called to a village near Driffield on Thursday morning (9th May).

The officers were called to Brigham at 10am after reports of concern for the safety of an individual on Main Street.

A spokesperson for Humberside Police said the women’s death is not being treated as suspicious.

“Emergency services were in attendance on Main Street in Brigham near to Driffield, after we were called to reports of a concern for safety at around 10am this morning (Thursday 9 May),” said the spokesperson.

“Upon arrival, a woman was found deceased. The circumstances of her death are not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.”
