Wildlife Photographer Experience with Steve Race

On Saturday 15th June, enjoy a full day experience giving the very best of wildlife photography on the east coast led by award-winning photographer Steve Race.

This is an for an exclusive viewing of the Wildlife Photographer Exhibition, photography workshop, lunch, and a full afternoon at RSPB Bempton Cliffs.

Vintage Afternoon Tea

Pop along to Sewerby Hall and Gardens for vintage afternoon tea in the Orangery. On Sunday 16th June enjoy a selection of sandwiches, homemade scones with jam and cream, a selection of cakes and unlimited tea or coffee for only £18 per person, add a glass of prosecco for an extra £7.

Live ‘n Loud in Libraries

Tickets are now on sale for East Riding Libraries’ festival for children and young people, Live ‘n Loud in Libraries.

The festival runs from Monday 22nd July until Saturday 31st August and includes a varied and exciting programme, featuring live music, forensics, activities, author visits and much more.

Funded through Arts Council England, Live ‘n Loud aims to widen the opportunity for East Riding residents to benefit from local arts and culture opportunities.

Most of the events are free or are subsidised to include everyone and encourage new audiences to experience the arts.

Dame James’ Rainbow Roadshow is coming to East Riding Libraries

With a rainbow burst of joy, join Dame James on a whirlwind 40 minutes exploring who we are. Through slapstick, song, stories and silliness we discover the world needs to be more colourful and you need every part of you to be, well, YOU!

These events will be running alongside Pride events already taking place in East Riding towns and villages.

Tickets to Dame James’ Rainbow Roadshow are free. As well as this, every library that Dame James visits will be running a design your own Pride flag workshop and face painting from a professional face painter, also for free!
