GET READY FOR SOMETHING MAGICAL AT BURNBY HALL GARDENS THIS WINTER

2024 sees the celebration of the diamond jubilee of the Stewarts Trust, established in 1964 to administer Burnby Hall Gardens and Museum.

Pocklington’s award-winning Gardens currently attract around 97,000 visitors each year and have won Yorkshire in Bloom awards on several occasions, and to mark this milestone event, they will be illuminated for the public to enjoy them at night for the first time in their 60-year history.

Visitors will be invited to go along and experience the lakes and trees as never seen before, all illuminated with winter lighting.

“This is a fantastic and unique opportunity to see the Gardens illuminated by night”, said Peter Rogers, Assistant Estate Manager.

“Our Gardens have quite rightly been called a “jewel in Yorkshire’s crown” and it is only fitting that we mark our trust’s diamond jubilee with a special event which shows off their winter beauty in a very special way.

“Many of our visitors have asked us to do this over recent years, so it’s great that we’re finally able to do so.”

Tickets for the event are on sale via www.burnbyhallgardens.com from Thursday 1st August.
