Saudi Arabia confirmed as hosts of 2034 World Cup

Saudi Arabia has been confirmed as the host of the 2034 World Cup. In 2030, the World Cup will take place in six countries across three continents.

The 2030 edition will celebrate 100 years of the tournament.

Saudi Arabia was the only country to bid for the 2034 World Cup. It will also host the 2027 Asian Cup, 2029 Asian Winter Games and 2034 Asian Games.

In 2030, the tournament will be co-hosted by Spain, Portugal and Morocco, with three games taking place in Uruguay, Paraguay and Argentina to mark 100 years since Uruguay hosted and won the inaugural World Cup.

The 2026 World Cup will take place in the USA, Canada and Mexico.
