Three Arrested on Suspicion of Murder After Fatal Collision in Scarborough
Three men have been arrested on suspicion of murder following a fatal incident overnight.
North Yorkshire Police responded to reports of a collision involving a white Audi and a man on Silver Street at around 1:45 a.m. The victim suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.
Following the incident, officers traced the Audi to Peasholm Gardens and arrested three men at an address in Scarborough. A scene guard remains in place at the location of the collision as investigations continue.
In response to concerns from the local community, police have announced that high-visibility patrols will be in the area throughout the weekend to provide reassurance.
