The Driffield & Wolds Weekly was established in August 2015 when a gap in the market for a local newspaper was recognised by Editor, Andy Stabler.Our newspaper is run by a small, experienced team of local people with an extensive knowledge of the area and the people in the community. We feel this is a valuable factor in the success of our publication.We report on local news and events, feature exclusive stories and profiles of local people and heroes. We have a comprehensive coverage of all sports and interests and are proud to work closely with all the local schools as we believe it is important to encourage the pupils to do well and our coverage gives them the recognition they deserve.We are highly regarded within the local business community and receive much support via our ever growing advertising portfolio and we hold the leading property section which features all the local Estate Agents.Our office is based on Brook Street in the heart of Driffield town centre and is open five days a week. This is a great point of contact for the community where they can tell us about their news and stories while allowing a more personal touch when placing their announcements.
