COUNCIL SERVICES IN BEVERLEY TO CLOSE TEMPORARILY AHEAD OF MOVE INTO CHAMPNEY TREASURE HOUSE

A number of East Riding of Yorkshire Council services will be closed temporarily as they move to the newly refurbished Champney Treasure House.

Alongside the tourist information centre and customer service centre on Cross Street, Beverley Library will also be making the move from its temporary location within County Hall in Beverley.

Beverley customer service centre and the tourist information centre will close on Tuesday 3rd December. The tourist information centre will temporarily reopen in their Cross Street location for the Beverley Festival of Christmas from Friday 6th – Sunday 8th December.

The library will close on Thursday 28th November and reopen on Tuesday 10th December. 

All services within the Champney Treasure House, aside from registration services, will reopen, along with the building itself, on Tuesday 10th December. 

Registration services will be open from Thursday 5th December for Beverley-based functions including births, deaths, taking notices and the collection of certificates.

Ceremonies will move from Walkergate House on Wednesday 18th December.
