WOLD NEWTON FOUNDATION SCHOOL CLOSED DUE TO SNOW

Wold Newton Foundation School is closed to all pupils this afternoon (Wednesday 20th November) after snow fell in the village and surrounding area throughout the morning.

With weather conditions still poor, the school has confirmed it will operate a half day closure.

There are problems on some of the roads in and around the village, whilst issues have been reported heading towards Scarborough.

It’s also reported that Bridlington School will close this afternoon, however, the Wolds Weekly has yet to see official confirmation.
