Pocklington household waste recycling site to reopen on Saturday

The household waste recycling site in Pocklington is due to reopen following a temporary closure for essential improvements.
East Riding of Yorkshire Council has confirmed the site, on Pocklington Lane in Burnby, is schedueld to reopen at 10am on Saturday (5th April) after it had to be temporarily closed in January to allow for the installation of a new drainage system.
Carl Skelton, director of streetscene services at the council, said: “I want to thank residents in the Pocklington area for bearing with us while we completed this necessary work, and I’m glad we can welcome them back to the site.”
