Bridlington man charged with firearms offences

A police operation carried out in Bridlington earlier this week has resulted in a man being charged.
Andrew Tipling, 48, from Bronte Walk, Bridlington has today been charged with four firearms offences. They relate to the possession of a shortened shotgun, two pistols and a quantity of ammunition.
Humberside Police has thanked the public for their assistance with their investigation which saw officers conducting an extensive search of a property over a number of days.
There is no suggestion that there is any threat to the wider community.
Tipling is due to appear at Hull Magistrates Court tomorrow, (Saturday 17th March 2018.)
