Four military medals stolen in beach theft

Can you help return medals to their owner

Four military medals, a wallet, cash, and clothes were stolen from a man’s bag while he went swimming in the sea in Bridlington.

The theft happened near the Royal British Legion on the Promenade between 9.45 and 11.30am on Tuesday the 21th August.

The victim had left his bag on the beach near to a beach hut. When he returned, his belongings had been stolen

The medals are as follows:

  • Northern Ireland Medal: Green and Purple. Regiment number 25183263 on the side.
  • Iraqi Medal: Black and Red stripes. Regiment number 25183263 on the side.
  • UN Medal: Navy Blue.
  • ACSM Medal: Green, Purple, and Orange.
