Two men arrested after car is reversed into a Bridlington house

Duo arrested on suspicion of threats to kill, dangerous driving and criminal damage

Two men have been arrested on suspicion of threats to kill, dangerous driving and criminal damage after a car was driven into a house in Bridlington yesterday afternoon, Wednesday 8 April 2020.

Police were called shortly after 12.30pm with reports that a car had been reversed into a property on Gypsey Road, causing damage to the house.

An investigation was launched and as part of this a vehicle has been recovered and two men have been arrested, both men remain in police custody whilst enquiries continue.

In a statement issued to the Driffield & Wolds Weekly, Humberside Police said “We would like to offer our reassurance to the local community that thankfully nobody was hurt and we do believe this to be an isolated incident, with no wider risk to the public.”
