Cain Robb delighted to sign new Castleford Tigers deal

Betfred Super League star, Cain Robb, has revealed his delight at signing a new two-year contract to remain at Castleford Tigers.

The former Nafferton resident inked a new deal recently which will see him ply his trade at the Mend-A-Hose Jungle until at least the end of 2024.

The 19-year-old hooker has made three league appearances in the Tigers’ first team in 2022, as well as starring in the reserves’ competition.

I’ve been working really hard this season and one of my goals was to earn a new contract.

Before the season began, Robb told the Wolds Weekly that his aim was to earn a new deal in West Yorkshire, with his previous contract expiring this year.

Having done that, he is now focused on knuckling down and cementing a regular first team place.

“I’m really delighted to have signed a new contract with Castleford and get it over and done with,” said Robb.

“I’ve been working really hard this season and one of my goals was to earn a new contract.

“Having done that now, I want to kick on and my main aim now is to stay in the first team.

“Lee Radford (head coach) called me earlier in the year to tell me that I was in his long-term plans which felt great, it really made me feel more valued.
