East Riding Leisure Unleashes Dog-Friendly Cafe Areas in Bridlington and Hornsea!

In a pawsitively exciting development, East Riding Leisure Bridlington and the Hornsea Hub are set to become even more welcoming to our four-legged friends.

Starting on Monday, October 30th, these leisure centres will be conducting a trial period of designated dog-friendly cafe areas, allowing customers to enjoy a cup of coffee while treating their faithful companions to doggy delights, including specially crafted dog ice-cream.

To partake in this delightful canine café experience, patrons simply need to keep an eye out for the tables with a unique identifier—a distinctive tabletop sign that marks them as part of the dog-friendly zone.

While the dog-friendly areas promise to be a tail-wagging good time for all involved, it’s essential to note that this feature will apply to selected tables in the cafe areas exclusively, and the rest of the leisure centre will remain pet-free zones.

Councillor Nick Coultish, the council’s Cabinet member for culture, leisure, and tourism, expressed his enthusiasm for this initiative, saying, “This is a great idea, and will benefit many of our customers in Bridlington and Hornsea- and their companions!

“We will monitor the results of this trial, and decide on the way ahead.”
