David’s earning a crust at Driff Big Baps
New business Driff Big Baps opened its doors to residents last month.
Located on Middle Street North, next door to Kennedys of Driffield, the cafe offers take-away, freshly-made sandwiches, snacks and refreshments to its customers.
Owner David Rayson previously ran two other catering businesses in Leeds, before venturing on to Driffield’s main street
David told the Wolds Weekly: “I am excited to be a part of the Driffield community, and hope to be a good addition to the town.
“We like to think we offer great value food and service to our customers.
“We are always thinking ahead and our goal is to go bigger, and the more customers the better.”
He added: “The name of the cafe came from my children. Back in Leeds we use the Yorkshire slang word bap, and consequently this name came about. We hope to bring a bit of humour, especially with the kids.”
