Plan your Bonfire Night – here are the displays in Driffield and the Wolds


On November 5th, an evening of noise, colour and wow factor will come to Driffield Showground.

The evening will begin at 4:30pm with a traditional funfair and a food village of sweet and savoury options, as well as hot and cold drinks.

The main firework display is expected to get underway around 7:15pm, but there will be no bonfire.

Also on Saturday 5th November, Highfield House will host a ‘casual family evening’ of fireworks and food.

Entry into the grounds is from 7pm, with a hot chocolate on arrival followed by a show-stopping performance.

A range of drinks, food and treats will also be served, whilst there will also be free children’s games.

Kilham Playing Fields Association is once again hosting its annual bonfire and firework event.

From 5:30pm on Friday 4th November on the playing fields on North Back Lane, there will be a bar and hot food, with the bonfire lit at 6:30pm and a firework display to follow, courtesy of The Fireworkers.

No sparklers are allowed and children are to be accompanied at all times by an adult.

All proceeds will go to Kilham Playing Fields Association.

Tickets can be bought in advance at theentrypoint.co.uk, by searching Kilham bonfire.


Also on Friday 4th November, a professional display will take place at Skipsea Village Hall on Bridlington Road.

Doors open at 5:30pm, before the bonfire is lit at 6pm and the fireworks display starts at 6:30pm.

There will be hot food, a bar and a tombola. Entry on the door. This is a cash only event.


On Saturday 5th November, North Frodingham Social Centre presents its Community Bonfire & Firework Night.

All are welcome for what promises to be a fantastic community evening, bigger and better than last year’s.

There will be food, a bar, hot drinks and stalls available from 6pm.
