Blood Brothers – Grand Opera House York

Have you heard the story about the Johnstone twins? This is what Blood Brothers is all about, the story of twins Eddie and Mickey, separated at birth, one brought up in poverty and the other with a wealthy family.

Throughout their lives, their paths continually crossed and they form a deep friendship, becoming ‘blood brothers’ until a tragic ending. During the play, there were great performances all round in a highly emotional, but funny show.

A definite must see! Mrs Johnstone, played by Lyn Paul, shone throughout. Credit must go to the twins and narrator Robbie Scotcher, who gave excellent performances and had fantastic voices.

Productions of Blood Brothers continue at Grand Opera House York until Saturday 2nd November 2019.
