Thieves strip parts from lifesaving 4×4 vehicle at Beverley Ambulance Station

Can you help us to find those responsible for damaging a vital Yorkshire Ambulance Service 4×4 emergency vehicle?

Police were called this morning (Tuesday, November 12 2019) after it was discovered that the doors and other parts had been removed from the Land Rover Defender overnight.

The vehicle had been parked at Beverley Ambulance Station, Driffield Road and Humberside Police is now appealing for anyone who saw suspicious activity in the area to get in touch.

Sergeant Andy Beadman said: “I can’t believe that someone would target an emergency vehicle in this way, putting it off the road and potentially putting lives at risk.

“If you have any information about who’s responsible, then please let us know so we can find them and put them before the courts.”

If you can help, please call The Humberside Police non-emergency 101 line.
