A photo of Prince Louis, taken by his mother, the Princess of Wales, has been released to mark his sixth birthday.

“Happy 6th Birthday, Prince Louis! Thank you for all the kind wishes today,” said a post on the Prince and Princess of Wales’ Instagram page.

The photo is thought to have been taken in Windsor during the last couple of days.

Prince Louis was last seen in public on Christmas Day when he attended a church service on the Sandringham Estate.
