EXCITING EVENTS FOR EVERYONE TO ENJOY AROUND THE EAST RIDING

Sunday 30th June sees the return of the family fun day at East Riding Leisure Beverley from 10am to 3pm. Attendees will have the chance to try out a wide range of activities and sports and support local grassroots clubs taking part in football matches and find out about what community groups are available in Beverley.

Kick off Bridlington Pride weekend in style and don’t miss out on a fab-u-lous evening full of drag, laughter and fun on Friday 5th July.

Hosted by the one and only PlastiQ and featuring performances by Vivian Twist, the one-woman queer musician The Bleeding Obvious, UK vs The World S2 contestant Arantxa Castilla La Mancha, The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula S5 contestant Anna Phylactic, and headlining – Winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK S4 – Danny Beard.

Head on down to East Riding Leisure Bridlington on Thursday 4th July from 12 noon to 3pm and get involved with the Active Communities Market Place event.

East Riding Archives has released recordings of interviews with more than 60 people who worked in the countryside around Skidby Mill in the first half of the 20th century, exploring historic memories of an East Riding landmark, local residents and their rural lives.

The hugely popular Sewerby Winter Woodland returns from Friday 6th to Sunday 22nd December. The grounds of Sewerby Hall and Gardens will come alive in a new spectacular featuring lights, sounds and special effects to give the whole family a festive evening to remember.

Discounted early bird tickets go on sale on Friday 28th June, and new for this year, people can pay in instalments when making telephone bookings over £50.
