The Mr Vegas World Seniors Snooker 900 Series is back and this time the competition will return to the former home of the UK Seniors Championships, Connexin Live in Hull.

The event, which will be broadcast live on Channel 5 on Sunday 8th September, will bring some of the most decorated names in the sport to the city including seven-time world champion Stephen Hendry, four-time World Seniors champion Jimmy White and 1997 world champion Ken Doherty.

Joining them will be current World Seniors Champion Igor Figueiredo as well as ‘The Tornado’ Tony Drago and former ranking event winner Barry Pinches.

Tickets for the one day event start at £10 each plus booking fees and go on sale next week.

Jason Francis, Chairman of World Seniors said: “It is brilliant to return to Hull, a city that has welcomed Seniors Snooker with open arms.

“This field contains the four players who contested the semi-finals of the recent Mr Vegas World Seniors Championship at the Crucible as well as two icons of the game in Jimmy and Stephen.

“With tickets starting from just £10 it’s a great chance for everyone in and around the area to enjoy an afternoon of top class snooker, which will be played under the new 900 rules, with each frame only lasting a maximum of 15 minutes.”

1985 World Snooker Champion Dennis Taylor will also be in Hull as part of the TV commentary team, but also to host a special VIP Legends Lunch which will see snooker fans enjoy a champagne two course meal and front row seats for the action.

Tickets – priced from £10 each plus booking fee – will be available from 10am on Wednesday 3rd July from www.connexinlivehull.com or by visiting new official ticketing partner AXS.
