POLICE TREATING DISCOVERY OF MAN’S BODY ON HORNSEA BEACH AS ‘UNEXPLAINED’

Humberside Police have said its officers are treating the discovery of a man’s body on Hornsea beach yesterday (24th September) as ‘unexplained’.

Officers were called to the beach at around 8am on Tuesday and, although unexplained, police are not treating the man’s death as suspicious.

The force said the man’s family had been informed and are being supported by officers.

“Anyone with information that may assist our enquiries, please call us on our non-emergency number 101 quoting log 82 of 24 September,” said a Humberside Police spokesperson.

“If you wish to remain anonymous, you can report via the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
