HUMBERSIDE POLICE ISSUE ADVICE TO ENSURE EVERYONE HAS A HAPPY HALLOWEEN

With Halloween just a day away, Humberside Police is offering advice to those going Trick or Treating on Thursday, ensuring everyone stays safe.

– If your child is going trick or treating make sure they go with a suitable adult and that you know where they are going and when to expect them back.

– Don’t knock on an address if it has a sign saying no trick or treat here.

– Do not go trick or treating alone – stay with your group.

– Only visit areas where there are streetlights.

– Don’t throw eggs or flour.

– Be careful crossing roads in the dark.

Those who do not wish to take part in Trick or Treating can download a ‘No Trick or Treat’ poster from the Humberside Police website.

These should be displayed near the front door of properties.
