TOM TUGENDHAT KNOCKED OUT OF CONSERVATIVE PARTY LEADERSHIP RACE

Tom Tugendhat is the latest candidate to be knocked out of the race to become leader of the Conservative Party.

Three candidates – Robert Jenrick, Kemi Badenoch and James Cleverly are left standing.

Cleverly won the latest vote, securing the support of 39 of his fellow MPs. He was previously sat in third place.

Jenrick came second with 31 votes and Badenoch third.
