Man and woman arrested after reports of assault in Bridlington
A man and a woman have been arrested and Humberside Police officers are appealing for information after reports of an assault on Lansdowne Road in Bridlington.
It is reported that an altercation took place outside of a pub between 8:30pm and 10pm on 17th February before a 34-year-old woman was allegedly assaulted, causing minor injuries to her face.
A 34-year-old man and a 33-year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and have since been released on conditional bail whilst enquiries continue.
“Enquiries remain ongoing including reviewing CCTV footage, and we would appeal to anyone who has any information, CCTV or dashcam footage and may have witnessed the incident to please call us on our non-emergency number 101, quoting reference number 25*22360,” said a Humberside Police spokesperson.
