May half-term fun across the East Riding this week

May half-term is here and East Riding of Yorkshire Council is hosting a range of events for all the family to enjoy.
Pop along to Sewerby Hall and Gardens until Sunday 1st June to enjoy action packed days out on the East Riding coastline.
From daring knights and magical creatures to magic shows and face painting, there is something for everyone to enjoy.

Keep the kids entertained this May half-term with East Riding Leisure. From Clip ’n Climb and pool inflatables to soft play and junior gym, there’s something for everyone.
Check out the fun activities:
- Clip ’n Climb: challenge yourself on the climbing walls at East Riding Leisure Bridlington
- Pool inflatables: splash around with the fun pool inflatables
- Soft play: let the little ones explore and play
- Junior gym: get active with gym sessions for those aged between 14 and 18
- Sports hall activities: including badminton, table tennis and much more
- Fun floats: enjoy a fun float session in the pool

East Riding Libraries is offering a series of activities for children this May half-term that help with creativity and keep children entertained.
Check out the activities on offer:
- Dens and Signals, Animals!: experience fun and thought-provoking shows with live singing, jokes, and slapstick humour.
- Elmer Day storytime: enjoy Elmer stories and activities at special themed storytime sessions.
- Lego Art sessions: create a Lego masterpiece with a wide variety of kits and templates. Suitable for children aged four and up, with adult supervision required for those aged eight and under.
- Duplo building: gather round and listen to a story, then use the Duplo sets to build it.
Activities vary across libraries and require booking.
Join Adult Learning for a trio of exciting Family Learning Workshops that are fun and educational.
Recycled Robots – Unleash your inner inventor. Build wild and wonderful robots from everyday junk in this hands-on art session.
