Police appeal for witnesses after three-vehicle road traffic collision on A1079 between Shiptonthorpe and Market Weighton
Humberside Police officers are appealing for information after they were called to reports of a three-vehicle road traffic collision on the A1079 at around 2pm on Sunday 2nd February.
It is reported a blue Honda Civic, grey Kia, and black Kia were in collision at the junction of York Road and Holme Road, from Shiptonthorpe to Market Weighton.
The passenger of the blue Honda Civic was taken to hospital for treatment to serious injuries. Two other people were also taken to hospital for treatment to their injuries.
The road was closed at the time to allow emergency services to work safely.
“We would appeal to anyone who witnessed the collision, or has dashcam from around the time the collision occurred to please contact us on our non-emergency number 101 quoting log 195 of 2 February,” said a Humberside Police spokesperson.
