Police Appeal for Witnesses Following Fatal A1079 Collision
Humberside Police is seeking witnesses and dashcam footage following a tragic collision on the A1079 earlier today (Saturday, 15 March 2025).
The incident occurred around 9:00 am near David Smith Garden Centre in Wilberfoss and involved four vehicles: a blue Suzuki VL800 motorcycle, a silver Hyundai I10, a dark-coloured VW Caravelle, and a white DAF HGV.
Emergency services attended, however the rider of the motorcycle suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene.
In a statement Humberside said “The man’s family have been informed and are being supported by specialist trained officers. Our thoughts are with them are this extremely difficult time.”
