Witness appeal after serious RTC at High Hunsley Crossroads

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Humberside Police are appealing for witnesses to two vehicle road traffic collision involving a Volvo SUV and a motorcycle at the High Hunsley Crossroads near Walkington yesterday afternoon. (Thursday 30th March 2017)

The Yorkshire Ambulance service, Humberside Fire and Humberside Police were called to the scene at 16:41 and the B1230 at its junction with Brick Dyke Lane was closed for several hours whilst the emergency services dealt with the incident.

The two vehicle collision involved a grey Volvo XC90 and a yellow and blue Suzuki GSXR motorcycle.

A 29 year old man who was the rider of the motorcycle and a 29 year old woman, a pillion passenger suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries as a result of the collision and both were taken to Hull Royal Infirmary for treatment.
