Woodland searches in Scarborough for missing man Peter Brown
Mountain rescue teams and police combed a large area at Oliver's Mount
North Yorkshire Police are becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of Peter Brown, a 46-year-old male believed to be in the Scarborough area.
He is described as a white, about 6ft 1in tall, and of muscular/athletic build. He is unshaven and his hair is a greying/brown colour which is slightly thinning.
He was last seen wearing a blue hoodie underneath a blue waist length jacket, loose grey cotton jogging bottoms, and blue Nike trainers. It is believed that he could also have been wearing a blue baseball cap (as pictured in the attached image).
On Wednesday night, Police and Scarborough and Ryedale Mountain Rescue Teams combed a large area of woods and the open ground around Oliver’s Mount, Seamer Road and Weaponess, but no sign of him was found.
Police are interested in any information which may be of assistance in locating Peter or suggesting where he may be.
