BBC pulls MasterChef Christmas specials following allegations against presenter Gregg Wallace

The BBC has announced it is pulling its MasterChef Christmas specials from its schedule following allegations made against presenter Gregg Wallace.

On Monday, the BBC said all MasterChef episodes that had already been filmed would be aired, including the festive editions.

Wallace stepped away from the show after allegations of sexual comments and inappropriate behaviour. His lawyers have denied he engages in such behaviour.

The two Christmas specials were due to air later this month and were set to feature celebrities, including some of the stars of Strictly Come Dancing.
