Princess of Wales pulls out of attending Royal Ascot

The Princess of Wales will not be attending Royal Ascot on Wednesday. The decision is believed to be part of the Princess continuing to find the right balance following her cancer diagnosis.

The Princess was due to attend the second day of the meeting alongside her husband, the Prince of Wales, and the King and Queen.

She was also due to award prizes to winning owners, trainers and jockeys at the royal meeting.
