FOUR-MONTH-OLD BABY BOY DIES AFTER ROAD TRAFFIC COLLISION BETWEEN VAN AND TAXI NEAR LEEDS

A four-month-old baby boy has died after a road traffic collision between a van and a taxi near Leeds on Monday.
The Vauxhall Vivaro van collided head-on with a Toyoto Auris during the incident, which was reported at 4:55pm.
The baby suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital where he died on Wednesday. Two women from the Auris and a man from the Vivaro were also treated in hospital.
The 54-year-old driver of the van was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
He has been released on bail pending further enquiries.
