CCTV Image Released as Search for Missing Scarborough Man Continues
Police have released a CCTV image in the search for 85-year-old Leslie Davis, known as Les, who has been missing since the morning of Thursday, 19 December. Officers hope the image will jog memories and encourage the public to come forward with information.
Les was last seen leaving his home in the Dean Road area of Scarborough and has not been seen since. Concern for his welfare is growing, with police describing him as 5ft 4ins tall, of small build, with short white or grey hair. He is known to usually wear a baseball cap.
Appeal for Information
North Yorkshire Police is urging anyone who was in the North Bay area of Scarborough, particularly around Royal Albert Drive, between 6.40am and 7.40am on Thursday, 19 December 2024, to come forward.
In addition, residents and businesses in the area are being asked to check their CCTV, video doorbell, or dashcam systems for any footage that might show Les. Specific areas of interest include the William Street Coach Park, Queens Parade, and Marine Drive.
