Appeal to find witness in connection with search for missing woman

Humberside Police has tonight issued an urgent appeal for a motorist to come forward who they think helped a woman who has been reported as missing in Hull.

Libby Squire, 21, who is a student at the University of Hull was last seen getting into a taxi outside the Welly club on Beverley Road last night around 11pm. Police are still looking for her and are concerned for her welfare and safety.

Officers would like a man who got out of his car and helped Libby on Beverley Road near to Beresford Avenue around 11.45pm to get in touch with us.

Officers have been working closely with staff and security at the University of Hull and our investigations are ongoing.

Libby Squire was last seen at around 11pm and is described as 5ft 7, with shoulder length brown hair and was wearing a black, long-sleeved top, leather jacket and a black denim skirt with lace.
