Bewholme pumpkin patch now open as Halloween creeps closer

At The Pumpkin Patch Produce in Bewholme harvest is just beginning, and it has never looked so colourful.


Established in 2010, the venture began with just 1,000 hand-planted pumpkin plants, the pumpkins then being sold from the farm gate.


The pumpkins were so well received by locals and passers-by, numbers were increased the following year and expansion has continued thereafter.


The Pumpkin Patch Produce is now undertaking its 12th harvest of five acres of pumpkins and squashes in all shapes, colours and sizes with over 30 varieties to choose from.


Whether you are looking for the best carving pumpkin or the perfect squash for a warming autumn dish there is something for everyone.


2016 saw the first Pick Your Own Pumpkin event and, after proving popular, it has become a fixture on the calendar ever since.


A trip to The Pumpkin Patch Produce is the perfect autumn activity for the young and young at heart!

PYO events are held approximately three miles from the farm and will take place from 11am-4pm between Saturday 23 rd and Sunday 31 st October.


If you are unable to make it to a Pick Your Own event, or if you’d like all the fun of the farm without the mud, then why not pop down to the huge farm display and shop where you can choose from hundreds of pumpkins,squashes and gourds?


The farm display and shop is open from 9am-6pm right up to Halloween.


All entry to Pick Your Own events and the farm display and shop is free, you only pay for what you pick!


There will also be an opportunity for pumpkin carving. This must be pre-booked.
